In the four years since Harry Connick Jr. last released a studio album, he's starred in the heartwarming Clearwater-based family film Dolphin Tale, did a stint on Broadway, mentored American Idol contestants and played a prosecutor for four episodes of Law & Order: SVU.
But this fall, music fans get back the Harry they know best, bringing a fall concert tour to Ruth Eckerd Hall on Nov. 5 on the heels of a critically acclaimed album release, Every Man Should Know. That should put him here about the time he's scheduled to film Dolphin Tale 2.
Ticket prices have not yet been announced.
The album contains 12 original songs for which Connick wrote music, lyrics and arrangements.
A limited number of VIP after-show meet and greet passes will be available for purchase at each of these shows. All proceeds from these passes will be donated to the Ellis Marsalis Center for Music at the New Orleans Musicians' Village.
